Summer Solstice And Epic Skies

With summer solstice being tomorrow, we say goodbye to longer days (ALREADY?), and hope for a good summer before autumn is upon us.

Over on my Facebook page I have for some time been posting epic photos of the view of the sky I have. Surely, nowhere else in my town has such a view. It’s become a vital sanctuary for me here and definitely a sacred place.

I have captured all kinds of moods the sky has been in and have also captured how the sun has moved back and forth through the different seasons. The sky is something of a vast canvas which the Great Artist takes pleasure in creating a new master piece each day.

So anyway, I’ll just post some of them here for you to scroll through. They have all been taken by my humble camera phone with NO filter. Enjoy…

  1. you have captured some great photos Geraldine keep snapping away – they are very uplifting and helped me turn to God this morning in prayer – thank you Heavenly Father for your wonderful universe and help us to be good stewards of it while we are here, amen
